魏斐德（Frederic Wakeman，Jr. 1937—2006）美国著名中国研究专家、历史学家、社会活动家，被誉为美国“汉学三杰”之一。曾任美国加州大学伯克利分校历史系哈斯基金教授，美国历史家协会会长、加州大学伯克利分校东亚研究院院长、美国社会科学院院长。除已发表的百余篇学术论文外，其著作还包括《洪业：清朝开国史》《间谍王：戴笠与中国特工》《大门口的陌生人：1839—1861年间华南的社会动乱》《上海警察（1927—1937）》《上海歹土：战时恐怖活动与城市犯罪（1937—1941）》《红星照耀上海城（1942—1952）》《历史与意志：毛泽东思想的哲学透视》等。

弗拉基米尔·波波夫，担任联合国经济与社会事务部顾问和莫斯科新经济学学校荣誉教授。同时，他还担任俄罗斯总统国家经济与公共事务管理研究院国际商务研究生院教授，以及加拿大卡尔顿大学欧洲与俄罗斯研究院助理研究教授。波波夫教授在转型与发展经济学的诸多问题上著述颇丰。目前，已发表专著11部，数篇论文发表在《比较经济学》《比较经济学研究》《世界发展》《后共产主义经济学》《新左翼评论》等学术杂志上，同时他为媒体撰写时评。波波夫教授的很多著作已被翻译成汉语、英语、法语、意大利语、日语、汉语、挪威语、葡萄牙语、俄语、西班牙语、土耳其语等多种语言。
